The Chemical Brothers have announced a date at Glasgow’s SECC on the 7th December, with support from Soma Records stalwarts, Slam.

The Chems are one of electronic music’s most revered and influential partnerships, consisting of Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons. Together, they released their 8th studio album, ‘Born In The Echoes’ last year, two decades on from their acclaimed debut ‘Exit Planet Dust’.

With such an expansive discography, The Chemical Brothers have been behind many seminal tracks, including ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’, ‘Star Guitar’ and ‘Block Rockin’ Beats’, while the visuals accompanying their live show are nothing short of jaw-dropping.

Joining The Chemical Brothers on their Glasgow date will be local stalwarts Slam, who recently released details of their sixth studio album, ‘Machine Cut Noise’. The duo, who co-founded influential techno imprint Soma Records, also celebrated the launch of Pressure’s 18th season last weekend, with Joseph Capriati and Apollonia joining them at SWG3.

The Chemical Brothers play Glasgow’s SECC on Wednesday 7th December with support from Slam. Tickets go on sale this Thursday (Sep 1st) at 10am via Ticketmaster, while a pre-sale will also be on offer this Wednesday (31st) via signup.
