Sub Club will host a series of Sunday parties throughout May, including events with Sensu, Huntleys + Palmers and The Riverside Festival.

The first event, due to take place on May 1st to coincide with the May bank holiday, will see Sensu and Sub Club present Detroit legend Moodymann, while on the 8th Huntleys + Palmers will host Norway’s DJ Sotofett.

On the 15th, burgeoning local talent and Phonox resident, Jasper James will provide support for Mood II Swing, the New York production team who have been described as “one of the most respected house duos of the last 25 years”. They were behind Ultra Nate’s crossover classic ‘Free’, as well as a series of influential cuts on the likes of Nervous Records and King Street Sounds.

The 22nd sees Kolsch return to Glasgow following arguably the most prolific three years of his career to date. Two albums on Kompakt, ‘1977’ and last year’s ‘1983’ have cemented his status as one of house and techno’s brightest stars, with his emotive, melodic touch shining brightest on underground piano anthems such as ‘Der Alte’ and ‘Cassiopeia’.

Finally, on the 29th Sub Club plays host to The Electric Frog and Pressure’s Riverside Festival afterparty. The line-up is yet to be revealed, but with everyone from Fatboy Slim to Julio Bashmore and Kerri Chandler playing the festival during the day, a surprise guest or two is more than likely…

Tickets to Sundays At Sub Club can be purchased via the Sub Club website with more information coming soon.
