Perhaps inspired by the unseasonal blast of sunshine over the last few days, Subcity Radio have announced plans to host a pool party and BBQ this summer.

Due to take place on the 20th May at Gourock’s outdoor swimming pool, roughly 45mins from Glasgow city centre, music will be provided by Subcity shows The Rainbow Dome (Bleaker & JP Laboonier), International Date Line and Beat The Bush, with a soundtrack of hip hop, house, disco and funk.

Gourock outdoor pool is the oldest heated lido in Scotland, recently refurbished as part of a £1.8m renovation project, including a terrace with spectacular views of the Clyde Estuary.

Guests will be transported to the party by bus, with free beer and BBQ on offer, while an afterparty will be held back in Glasgow at Stereo, featuring Eve Was Framed, Rigid Disco and Forefront.

Tickets will be available from Friday 31st March – join the Facebook event for more info.
