The first wave of acts have been announced for this year’s Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival, due to take place on the last weekend in May.

Returning for its third year in the grounds of the iconic Riverside Museum, Cocoon will host the mainstage with Sven Vath providing a special 3hr set, while Laurent Garnier, Slam, Rødhåd, Gary Beck, Ilario Alicante and VRIL will also be on hand to satisfy techno fans. Elsewhere, Fatboy Slim will feature alongside Dimitri From Paris, Jackmaster and Dixon Avenue Basement Jams. Expect more names to be announced in the coming months.

Festival organisers say they are "dedicated to improving and maximizing the event year on year", adding that "2016 will be bigger than ever before with more bars and more music, with the event kicking off earlier at 3PM."

Electric Frog and Pressure Riverside Festival takes place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th May. Advance tickets are available from Ticket Tailor priced at £65 + BF for the weekend and £35 +BF for a day.
