Electric Frog and Pressure have revealed some heavyweight additions to this year’s Riverside Festival, including two stages hosted by internationally respected techno titans, Cocoon. Joining Sven Vath and Ricardo Villalobos on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May will be Detroit legend Carl Craig, as well as Nina Kraviz and French producer, Popof. Other additions to the line up include Len Faki, Julio Bashmore, Karenn (live), Robert Hood: Floorplan, Prosumer, Ben UFO, Joy Orbison and Midland, with Siriusmodeselektor (live), Slam and Optimo already on the bill.
An Ibiza institution, Cocoon have championed underground sounds on the island for over 15 years, making them one of the most recognisable club brands and labels on the planet. Hosting two stages at this year’s Riverside Festival, you can expect full production to bring the Cocoon Ibiza spirit to Glasgow, with more names still to be announced for the two day party.
Electric Frog & Pressure Riverside Festival Promoter Dave Clarke said: “We were delighted to reveal the first batch of acts to play this year’s Riverside Festival last month and we are extremely excited at how this year’s line-up is shaping up. It truly is one of the best electronic music line-ups that Scotland will see this summer. With the addition of the Sunset Stage and the Cocoon element, it’s shaping up to be our biggest event yet!”
