Presenting a full program of seminars, workshops and panels with music industry representatives, Question Session will host a free conference in Glasgow this week.

Taking place at this Thursday (8th June) at Stereo Café Bar, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars with the likes of music production software company, Ableton, licensing and royalty organisation PPL and local record shop, distributor and institution, Rubadub.

Ableton Certified Trainer Simon Stokes who produces music as Petrichor will host a 'Techno Toolbox' seminar on how to use hardware with Ableton Live to stimulate new ideas, while Heka Trax label owner, Nightwave, will lead an 'Introduction To Producergirls', encouraging more women to explore electronic music production.

There will also be a series of panels featuring artists and experts, covering topics ranging from live music to media. Speakers will include Optimo’s Keith McIvor, Chemikal Underground’s Paul Savage, Synergy Concerts’ Grainne Braithwaite and SynthGlasgow editor, Colin Brownbill. Featured artists who will be speaking include Admiral Fallow and Aberdeen grime MC, Ransom FA.

Attracting music industry enthusiasts and professionals alike, the conference will increase knowledge, expand new business partnerships and encourage networking and new opportunities.
