The free party will celebrate the launch of the Platform 18 label helmed by founder and resident Ivan Kutz, who makes his production debut on the label’s first release.

Taking place on Saturday 8th July at Sauchiehall St record shop, Palais De Danse, Kutz will be joined by fellow Platform 18 residents Niz and Craig Hamilton, while Milton Jackson will also perform an exclusive live set. Jackson is one of Glasgow’s most prolific deep house producers, with a series of releases on Freerange and Tsuba dating back to the early 2000s.

The launch party will precede Platform 18’s return to The Depot on Saturday 29th July, where Matthew Jonson, Gary Beck and Detroit legend Jeff Mills will join the aforementioned Kutz, Niz, Craig Hamilton and Milton Jackson.

Final release tickets for Platform 18 at The Depot are still available from Resident Advisor priced at £35.00 (excluding fees). The Platform 18 Records launch party is free entry, however capacity will be limited. Free beer will be available to those in attendance and the sets will also be live streamed.
