Platform 18 has confirmed it will return for a third season on Glasgow’s West St, with an opening party planned for April 30th.

Joining residents Ivan Kutz & Niz will be Berlin-based producer John Dimas who has previously released on labels such as Bass Culture, One Records and Claap, while delivering standout sets at DC10, Watergate and Tresor.

Since launching in 2014, Platform 18 has grown to become one of Glasgow’s biggest and most popular street parties, utilising the space between the West St bridges in Tradeston. Previous guests have included the likes of Bella Sarris and Julian Perez, while more recently they hosted Cassy, tINI and Slam at a sold out New Year’s Day party at The Depot warehouse.

The 2016 opening party with John Dimas will run from 3-10pm on April 30th and advance tickets are available now from Resident Advisor and Tickets Scotland. £1 from each ticket sale will go towards local mental health charity SAMH.
