Glaswegian synth-wizards, Machines In Heaven, were responsible for one of our favourite releases of 2014, with the incredible ‘Hindu Milk’ EP. We’re now pleased to bring you a remix of the title track from equally fascinating production duo, Modifier, who caught our attention with their ‘Haptic’ EP on High Sheen. Compressing ‘Hindu Milk’ into a slow-mo electro jam, their robotic re-rub is delivered with satisfying precision, retaining the artificial melancholy which made the original so endearing.

Both Modifier and Machines In Heaven will play live at ELEMNTS tonight – a collaborative event which aims to promote Glasgow’s most exciting audio and visual talent, focusing on the relationship between live music and socially-engaging video and art installations. Taking place at The Old Hairdressers, you can expect to find some of the city’s most interesting visual artists alongside experimental producers such as Phoene (the lady behind the project) and SynthGlasgow favourite, Arm Watches Fingers.
