The untimely passing of Prince had a seismic impact on the music world, but the legendary artist left behind a hugely influential discography.

There have been many reversions and edits of Prince’s work, but Late Nite Tuff Guy’s ubiquitous interpretation of ‘Controversy’, the 9 minute long ‘Do I Believe In God’, is perhaps the most faithfully and effectively delivered, becoming a mainstay in DJ sets around the world.

On October 7th the Australian edit master, who’s also put his magic touch to everyone from Chaka Khan to Chic, will present a full night dedicated to Prince at SWG3. Expect to hear originals and edits alike, played and programmed for maximum impact. If LNTG’S past Prince tribute nights are anything to go by, you can also expect a full audio/visual installation to accompany the tribute.

If you can’t wait until October, Late Nite Tuff Guy will also be playing a more intimate classics set at The Berkeley Suite next month, where he joins local promoters We Should Hang Out More on July 8th.

Late Nite Tuff Guy presents his Prince Tribute at SWG3 on October 7th. Advance tickets are available this Friday at 9am from Skiddle, starting at £12.50.
