Astral Black Present Bushido’s ‘Grandmaster Cash’ Launch Party (April 15th)

Label, club night and collective, Astral Black has become an essential platform for bedroom producers with fresh ideas. Based in Glasgow, previous releases have featured local troops, Inkke, Dressin Red and DJ Milktray, with Bushido providing the next hit with his debut EP ‘Grandmaster Cash’ – a bouncing bass-bomb of tropical beats. Celebrating the EP launch at The Art School on April 15th, he’ll be joined by HER Records' co-founder MM, Aberdeen’s TAM and Astral Black head-honch Jon Phonics. 5 Years Of On The House W/ Ralph Lawson (April 16th)

Since launching in 2011, On The House has grown into one of the most consistent house nights Glasgow has to offer, matching burgeoning local talent with international guests such as Darius Syrossian and Catz N Dogz. For their fifth birthday, they’ve invited one of the UK’s most respected DJs to blow out the candles: Ralph Lawson. Founder of the seminal 20/20 Vision label as well as legendary Leeds institution Back To Basics (for which he’s won numerous awards), he’s played everywhere from New York’s Sound Factory Bar to Watergate with a career spanning over two decades. This man has rocked more parties than you’ve had hot dinners. (The Berkeley Suite / Facebook Event / Tickets)

Don’t Label W/ Huxley, Hostage & Denver Brooks (April 23rd)

House and techno crew Don’t Label are new on the scene, but they’ve already made a big impression. Their first event with Dense & Pika was a near sell out, and they look set for a repeat performance with Huxley in April. A mainstay on Aus Music as well as imprints like Hypercolour, Tsuba and Defected, Michael Dodman’s brand of impactful, bass-heavy house is fired-up with energy, while his sets roll through big mainroom bangers as well as those dark, basement cuts which will have you banging the ceiling. Melting Pot With The Reflex (May 1st)

After a sensational bank-holiday blowout with Mr Scruff, Melting Pot have already announced their plans for a May Day Super Sunday, inviting edit master The Reflex for his debut Glasgow performance. Using only original sounds from master tapes, Nicolas Laugier’s edits of pop, soul and disco classics have been played by everyone from Jazzy Jeff to Joris Voorn, with his ‘Revision’ of Michael Jackson’s ‘Rock With You’ becoming an end of night classic in 2015. 'There are edits, then there are ‘The Reflex Revisions’ - quite simply next level.' (The Admiral / Facebook Event / Tickets)
