Glasgow-based label and party Huntleys + Palmers have confirmed Damian Lazarus will headline their 8th birthday next month at The Art School. Auntie Flo, Cómeme’s Lena Willikens and label-head Andrew Thomson will also play on the 18th December.

Having originally started as a small scale event at The Research Club in 2007, Huntleys + Palmers has grown into a widely respected label and event, attracting international artists. With footholds in London and Berlin, previous parties have featured everyone from Four Tet to Todd Terje and Nicolas Jaar, while their most notable releases include Sophie’s ‘Nothing More To Say’, DrumTalk’s ‘Time’ and more recently, Auntie Flo’s second album ‘Theory Of Flo’.

Crosstown Rebels boss, Damian Lazaus will make his Huntleys + Palmers debut for the label’s 8th birthday. “About 10 years ago, Damian introduced us to a lot of great music we still love today” explains H+P's Andrew. “Over time we have gone in our respective directions, but continue to push great, interesting and unusual music to wide audiences. His ear for emerging talent has rarely been far from the target - he's even snapped up DrumTalk for the most recent release on Crosstown Rebels.”
