Having grown to become one of Glasgow’s most diverse and progressive electronic labels, Huntley + Palmers will celebrate their 10th anniversary with a series of special events and releases this year.

The first event to mark the milestone will be at The Art School on Thursday 23rd February, where Hessle Audio co-founder Ben UFO will be joined by Cologne-based DJ and producer Lena Willikens and Japan’s Sapphire Slows, who will be performing live.

Huntley + Palmers started life as an intimate party at the now defunct Research Club, before later launching as a label and establishing footholds in London and Berlin. Notable releases have included Auntie Flo albums ‘Future Rhythm Machine’ and ‘Theory Of Flo’, as well as EPs from Sophie, DrumTalk and Alejandro Paz.

Last year Huntley + Palmers released two ‘Clyde Built’ compilations, showcasing some of Glasgow’s most promising new and unsigned talent, while the label also recently launched an off-shoot imprint called ‘BELTERS’ with a Hi & Saberhägen release forthcoming.
