Eskimo Dance have announced the full lineup for their first event in Scotland, due to take place in Glasgow on Sat 21st May at the 02 Academy.

MCs to join the six hour party include Chip, Devlin, Solo45, Discarda, the Levels Syndicate crew and Sky Boii, while Astral Black label boss Jon Phonics, Electrikal Sound and Glasgow grime duo Gallus One and Polonis will complete the DJ lineup.

MCs already announced include Eskimo Dance founder Wiley, Ghetts, Big Narstie, D Double E, Footsie, P Money, Elf Kid and Ransom FA, with Radio 1 Xtra’s Target, Boy Better Know's Maximum, Elijah & Skilliam and Glasgow’s own Rapture 4D providing DJ support.

Responsible for bringing together some of the biggest MCs of the day, Eskimo Dance originated in London in 2002 and quickly picked up notoriety as a chaotic, raw and highly competitive epicentre for grime, with the likes of JME, Skepta and Kano all cutting their teeth there.

After a hiatus, Eskimo Dance returned in 2012 with a huge party at London’s IndigO2, before establishing itself as a nationwide brand with events across the country. The upcoming event in Glasgow will be the first outside of England.

Eskimo Dance Glasgow takes place on Saturday 21st May at the O2 Academy. Advance tickets are available from Ticketweb at an early bird price of £11.25 (inc fees).
