This autumn, newly established Glasgow label, Craigie Knowes, will launch an annual compilation dedicated to the War Child charity - an organisation which provides aid to children who are affected by global conflicts.

Rounding up an impressive fleet of local and international artists for the first compilation, you can expect music from the likes of Bicep, Move D, Lord of the Isles and Hammer & Ludd to appear on the double vinyl, due for release on October 12th. From the delicate, wistful chords of Daniel Waples’ opener ‘Djansa’ to the intoxicating delirium of The Burrell Connection’s ‘Acid Rapids’, the release provides a diverse but consistent selection, showcasing analogue grooves and solid beats from an impressive pool of talent. A special nod also needs to go to Move D who wins the prize for best track title…

Craigie Knowes will release the First Annual Fundraiser on Oct 12th with all proceeds going towards War Child. 20% of proceeds from forthcoming releases will also to the charity.
