The UK festival season officially begins this April as Skye Live welcomes a host of electronic and live talent to one of the most beautiful islands in the world.
Now in its second year, Skye Live will host a raft of Glaswegian DJs, including Jackmaster, The Revenge, Denis Sulta and legendary Subculture residents, Harri & Domenic, while international talent is also represented with Innervisions duo, Âme appearing alongside Ivan Smagghe, Simian Mobile Disco, Patrice Baumel, Robag Wruhme and Bicep. Check the full lineup here.
Situated in a park adjacent to the island’s largest town, Portree, and surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery, it’s not just the music which makes this festival special, with Skye voted one of Europe’s most desirable island destinations. Skye Live also topped WOW247’s list of the best small and boutique festivals for 2016, with world class food provided by The Three Chimneys' Scott Davies and Michelin starred Marcello Tully and Michael Smith.
We have two weekend tickets to give away to the festival courtesy of Skye Live, so if you want to be in with a chance, simply head over to the SynthGlasgow Facebook and type ‘Skye Live’ on the wall (if you don’t have access to Facebook, you can also email firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Skye Live’ as the subject, but please use Facebook where possible as it's much easier to process).
We’ll select one winner at random on Monday 11th April and notify them via Facebook comment (or by reply if entry is via email).
Weekend and day tickets for Skye Live 2016 are available in advance from Eventbrite priced at £95.00 and £55.00 (excluding fees). The festival takes place on the 29th and 30th April at Portree’s King George V park.
