Following events with Numbers, All Caps, Huntleys + Palmers and Sub Club, Boiler Room is set to make a return to Glasgow next Thursday (30th) to help celebrate 25 years of techno institution, Soma Records.

Founded by Slam and Dave Clarke in 1991, Soma has brought us classics by everyone from Daft Punk to Silicone Soul, while pushing perennially forward to uncover exceptional new talent.

Joining Slam for the showcase will be Decoy Records’ Rebekah who released her dark and twisted ‘Code Black EP’ on Soma last year, as well as dancefloor-destroying duo Clouds and From Another Mind founders, SDHW & Obscure Shape.

“Since it's inception in 1991, Soma Records has situated itself at the bleeding edge of techno. We're heading to Glasgow for a rundown of where the label is at in 2017. This line-up boasts the likes of Boiler Room favourites Clouds, alongside label owners SLAM themselves and debut appearances from both Rebekah and SDHW & Obscure Shape. It looks to be yet another raucous techno outing, with those loveably riotous Scottish crowds.” – Boiler Room

Request an invite to the showcase via the Boiler Room event page where you can also stream the sets live from 7pm next Thursday. The location of the showcase is yet to be revealed.
