LOCAL HERO

As if the Hunger EP needed any more hype, Peace has gone and enlisted Heartbeats head-honcho Megamegaman and recent collaborator AC to turn out some remixes for the rather moving, ‘Broken Ribs. The Megamegaman remix, featured here, takes it down a Dubstep route with infusions of his trademark ‘chip’ sound while AC uses a more Funky diversion in a short but sweet ode to the original. Quality stuff.

If you want to catch our attention, make something like this. We’ve had our eye on AKA-SA for a while – his twisted take on Dubstep is most definitely unique, stretching harsh, bass-driven beats over eight minutes or so in a complete assault on the senses. Here he ups the tempo to Jungle territory with razor sharp basslines competing with a crazy Jazz line. Pick it up now on Sonicadivision.
