COMPETITION: We Prsnt Festival W/ Roska, Clouds, Fenech Soler & More...
Without getting overly emphatic, Saint Judes is one of our favourite new venues in Glasgow. A shining example of how positive investment and an unperturbed vision can truly pay-off, the intimate club, bar, restaurant and hotel offers a perfect alternative to some of Glasgow’s larger, more expensive clubs. Entering through the hotel’s reception, you are guided down a narrow staircase to what feels like your personal party-den. With an expansive seated area catered towards those who may need a break from the dancefloor and a smoking terrace which makes it impossible not to meet new friends, the dynamic of what was once a relatively unknown and unrefined Bath St hideaway is now building a sensational reputation.
With a surplus of new nights kicking off over the last few months and some big plans in motion to develop it even further, we’re personally rather excited. Having launched a new and impressively on-point student night called Hot City, as well as welcoming names such as Friendly Fires, Miguel Campbell, Richy Ahmed and Waifs & Strays, they are now preparing for a huge week with a miniature festival powered by We Prsnt and a very loud Function 1 soundsystem.
Firing up tonight with a special guest hosted by slick and sexy House night, The Shimmy, you can expect to find a broad range of musical talent ready to get you moving right through to the weekend. Tomorrow night Rinse regular and ambassador of UK Funky, Roska will be passing through to turn up the heat, while on Thursday you’ll find the face-melting, bass-churning Electro-Tech of Turbo Recording's Clouds. Friday night is reserved for Indie-Dance four piece Fenech Soler, while Glasgow City Social Club takes care of Saturday with yet another flavoursome dose of delectable House provided by Hot Creation’s Alexis Raphael. And the best part? It’s all free, just head along to Saint Judes, Bar Soba or The Ivy to pick up your festival wristband. Alternatively you can enter our competition for VIP treatment all week long.
