FEATURE: Annie Mac Presents The UK All The Way Tour

There is no two ways about it; Annie Mac is one of the biggest DJs in the world right now. With infectious enthusiasm and an absolute passion for her music, she is living proof that persistence, belief and a whole lot of energy does pay off. Tirelessly promoting an inclusive cross-section of dance music’s hottest sounds, she has without doubt been instrumental in taking the underground to the mainstream, while also encouraging new and exciting collaborations which have seen bass music explode into the wider conscience. Having taken on Radio 1’s prestigious 7-9 slot on a Friday night, the Annie Mac Presents brand is now recognised the world over and continues to grow.

This winter she will embark on another edition of her massively popular and consistently on-point AMP tour, in what will be a celebration of Britain’s finest home-grown talent. Featuring Dubstep behemoths Magnetic Man, recent Drum & Bass chart-toppers Rudimental, plus jacked-up House supremo Redlight and the utterly incendiary Disclosure, this may well be her biggest line up to date. Headlined of course by Annie herself, the tour will drop by Glasgow’s 02 Academy on November 29^th, following dates in London, Leeds and Bristol.

Appealing to both the heads and mainstream alike, The UK All The Way Tour will be an apt celebration of Britain’s prominence in electronic music. From the anthemic sub-bass of Magnetic Man, arguably Dubstep’s first crossover act, to the frenetic soul of Rudimental, claimants to one of this summer’s biggest tunes, you can expect to be blown away on all levels. In the run up to the event we hope to bring you interviews with some of the acts involved as well as running coverage of tunes, mixes and hype from all the artists.
