FREE DOWNLOAD: Dam Mantle – Canterbury Pt 1

We’ve been waiting a long time fo this, and on hearing the first offering we’re certainly not disappointed. One of Glasgow’s most colourful artists, Dam Mantle announced details of his debut album last night, including a free download of new single ‘Canterbury 1’ and album track ‘Full Moon & Moth’. Following on from a series of exceptional EPs, ‘Brothers Fowl’ will be available on Notown Records on October 8^th and if this free single is anything to go by, its shaping up to be more than a bit special.

Crackling into life with cascading synths before settling into a half-time groove which is nothing short of sublime, ‘Canterbury 1’ truly exemplifies what the producer is capable of, balancing the eccentric with the seductive over four minutes of audible gold.
