It’s been another big summer for Sunday Circus. Having just celebrated their 4^th birthday with Crosstown Rebel’s star Jozif as well as featuring at both Rockess, Sonar and T In The Park, the nomadic party collective are no doubt feeling excited with not only what they’ve accomplished but what lies ahead. Of course Sunday Circus have always pushed the boat out (quite literally in some cases), taking punters to the less obvious venues around Glasgow and showing them a good time. This Sunday they return to one of the city’s most exciting and promising new venues, Chambre69 where they will showcase the return of DC10 resident Dyed Soundorom.

Having risen through the ranks over many years, Dyed is perhaps now one of the busiest DJs on the circuit. And what makes that most impressive is that he has made a reputation for himself by not solely focusing on production (although his work in the studio is exceptional) but representing a style of DJ’ing that has perhaps been lost in the last few years. He doesn’t rely on that big tune he produced ages ago to rally the crowd, he keeps things moving with energy, vigour and a complete understanding of the dancefloor.

Through irresistible grooves and an ability to give the crowd what they want with subtle compromise he has become a ‘people’s DJ’, not wrapped up in being mysterious and cool, but simply rocking the party. Having played at some of the world’s best clubs including Panorama Bar, Fabric and the aforementioned DC10, as well as releasing on such influential labels such as Freak N Chic, Crosstown Rebels and Tsuba, Dyed is without doubt one of the hottest names in House & Techno. This Sunday he has promised to deliver a three hour set strictly on vinyl - with a Funktion 1 soundsystem at his disposal that could well mean party of the summer.
