Ok, so there’s literally half an hour left now until the weekend officially begins. The rain may have set in, but the heat keeps coming as one half of I AM residents, Kappa unleashes this mix into Friday night. With his mixing partner, Beta celebrating his 21^st birthday at this Tuesday’s party at the Sub Club, both residents are releasing a series of mixes, albeit in somewhat of a strange order.

Featured here is ‘Rejoicing (Flower Mix Pt2)’, a techy blend of Garage shuffle, sub-damaging bass and skank-ready sounds which are sure to get you moving. According to Kappa, parts 1 & 3 are unreleased with the prequel, then sequel to follow – the complete trilogy clocking in over 2 ½ hours – certainly a refreshing concept. In the meantime however, hold tight for beats from Emvee, Jamie Jones & Glasgow’s own Mia Dora…
